My little sister is still in high school and will probably end by studying science-something like the whole family (yes I got a scientist family I'm kind of the black sheep!) but I think she's got quite good artistic eyes and she makes beautiful photographs, have a look!

International day against violences against women

Today is the beginning of the 16 days of activism against gender violence, this worldwide campaign deals with a huge subject that would take a lot of time to cover properly, and as I'm on a hurry I'll just give you a very few stunning statistics & cool print ads on the subject:


"At least 60 Million girls who would otherwise be expected to be alive are "missing" from various population as a result of sex-selective abortions as they are seen as less important than boys" (E, Joni Seager, 2003)




"At least 1 out of 3 women (or up to 1 billion women), have been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in their lifetimes" (L Heise, M Ellsberg, M Gottemoeller)




"Up to 70% of female murder victims are killed by their male partners" (WHO 2002)
