I know it doesn't look awesome but it is, let me explain ;)

This is a picture of a page in the middle of "le guide du routard" which is the equivalent of the Lonely Planet guide in French. In this book we find practical informations like "Adresses utiles" (useful adresses) "Où manger?" (Where to eat?) "Où dormir" (where to sleep?) "Où boire un verre?" (Where going for a drink?) and so on.
Reporters sans Frontieres is the French branch of Reporters Without Borders that defend freedom of expression, press and informations.
In this ad they used the same layout as the other pages of the guide, add marker marks on it and put their logo & baseline "N'attendez pas qu'on vous prive de l'information pour la défendre." (Don't wait to be deprived of information to defend it.)

Simple. Clever. Efficient. Love it :D!

The fireworks were amazing last night. I used to see them on TV for years as Sydney is the first city to celebrate the new year and I found them beautiful but in real it's just awesome! I'd love to share with a video I made under the harbour bridge, it gives you another perspective that what you can see in the media but my internet connection is so bad here that you gonna have to be patient, I'll upload it later ;)

Today is world AIDS day and numerous activities are organized worldwide to raise awarness on this issue, here is the poster for the walk against AIDS organized by Santa Helena clinic:

AIDS is a huge issue that contains numerous problems, I will just share with you some of my favorite creative work related to this subject:

Jointex gave free condoms in the street, thanks to special marketing teams (straight and gay couples). The operation is on by rainy times to show the effectiveness of the umbrella (metaphore of the condom).

Here are a few cartoons on the subjects ( pictures of the "drawing it out" exhibition I visited in the UN office of NY a couple of years ago so not so new but a few great ideas!)

International day against violences against women

Today is the beginning of the 16 days of activism against gender violence, this worldwide campaign deals with a huge subject that would take a lot of time to cover properly, and as I'm on a hurry I'll just give you a very few stunning statistics & cool print ads on the subject:

"At least 60 Million girls who would otherwise be expected to be alive are "missing" from various population as a result of sex-selective abortions as they are seen as less important than boys" (E, Joni Seager, 2003)

"At least 1 out of 3 women (or up to 1 billion women), have been beaten, coerced into sex, or otherwise abused in their lifetimes" (L Heise, M Ellsberg, M Gottemoeller)

"Up to 70% of female murder victims are killed by their male partners" (WHO 2002)

(translation: "and you say you love her? 1 woman out of 10 victim of domestic violence in France")

"82 million girls who are now aged 10 to 17 will be married by force before their 18th birthday" (UNFP)

"1 out of 5 women will be a victim of rape or attempted rape in her lifetime" (WHO 1997)
